1. Here’s the work for this week, guys! I hope you enjoy them. I’ve decided that my upload date will range from Friday to Sunday depending on my schedule. Probably more Sunday than anything. Check back next week!

  2. AAAHHH late again! >< Sorry about that guys, it’s been a hectic weekend. Which also means that I was unable to make up a drawing. But I have 4 for you. I’m getting lazy with them. I might consider doing a drawing a week instead of one every day, since I don’t even have drawing first semester. Drawing every day is harder than I thought it would be, haha!

  3. Here’s the second batch, a little late. Sorry about that.

This week, most of the stuff was gesture/quick sketches. I didn’t feel very inspired, and honestly the first week’s pieces took a good hour to two hours each and it was a little intense. I’m working on finding a good balance between easy and hard and challenging and relaxing, so we’ll see what happens. Hope you enjoy!

  4. Here is my first set of drawings for my Drawing-A-Day project. It started off rough, I’ll admit, but I want to stay true to the project and so I uploaded everything: the good, the bad, and the ugly. I hope you enjoy.

  6. Page 9!
I used vectors from here to compose this piece, and I think it turned out decently. This is my first trial (and maybe error?) with using arbitrary swirls etc. I don’t think it turned out too bad, though. The poem is in the Ghazal form. If you want to find out more about it, the link to the text on my dA contains an explanation in my statement, here.

  7. These are my concentration covers and back. I really like how the fish turned out, actually. It’s a series of triangles and polygon shapes. The fish is because my name is Karpinski, and my nickname is Karp. Or Carp. Anyway. There it is.

  8. 3 concentration pieces! They all are unified by the same story. The color theme, obviously, is blue. The idea is that the strength of the pearls (which in this instance would represent love and memories) slowly regresses until it is just a strand of a few beads. 9. This is one of the pages for my AP Art Studio concentration. I am focusing on the correlation between color and emotion using monochromatic schemes. The final format will be somewhat of a zine, with my own writings as the text.

  10. This is a tattoo design that I did for one of my friends. He picked the colors, the composition of the ribbons, and the key design. I just drew it and then vectored it the way that he wanted. The quote and key are from the Sandman series by Neil Gaiman.
